I have no patience for stupid people. I am always having to say, "Stupidity should be illegal." My second pet peeve is laziness. The lazier people become the angrier I get. Some of the worst offenders are the people who attempt to bag groceries, and the baggers at my local grocery store now just get out of my way so I can do it myself.

My boss knows that calling me a bitch is the greatest compliment he can bestow upon me, and after 20 years of training him, he finally gets it. He takes pride in telling clients that as long as they stay on my good side, the job will be done to perfection. He's been known to whisper into a client's or a co-worker's ear, "Just don't piss her off."

My husband, on the other hand, still thinks he's insulting me when he calls me a heartless bitch (yes, this is the term he actually uses), but he's only been around me for eight years. He still has time to learn.

My kids? Well, let's just say they respect me. They know better than to stay in my face once I give them "the look." Even my teenage son, who can be an obnoxious pain in the ass to the world, is a darling angel in my presence. And yet, my kids all tell me they love me more than anything and that I'm the best mother in the world. Go figure!
