I really had to think about why I am a Heartless Bitch. I never really considered it since I just figured I was being me. Still, most of my friends seem to think I am (and of course all my ex-husbands agree whole-heartedly)

I am just me, tough, honest and unwilling to let anyone, male or female tell me how I need to act or live my life. I don't hate men, frankly they are fun to play with (a little like a cat with a mouse) although I long ago figured most of them are for a good time not a long time. I am brutal in my honesty, so if you ask my opinion, you'll get it. You probably won't like it, but you'll get it. I have to be in total control of my own life and refuse to ask anyone's permission to do anything. If my partner doesn't like it, tough luck. I simply am who I am, I don't consider myself better than you (until you prove otherwise) but I know damned well you'll never prove you're better than me. I have no time for people who like to play the victim, I have never mastered the art of being vulnerable (thank the Gods), I don't tolerate stupidity, ignorance or bigotry. I admire brains when in full operation, people who believe in themselves, assertive people, anyone with the smarts and the courage to take control of their own lives instead of accepting that they are just flotsam to be shoved around by life and men who think with their brain and not their dick.
