Why I'm A Heartless Bitch
Despite my benign appearance and demeanor, if you try to inflict your idiocy on me, you will face the consequences. I'm not loud, but I'm vicious and effective. You will suffer. I will prevail. I will never compromise my values, no matter what the consequences. This doesn't mean I'm inflexible. I'm woman enough to listen to rational people and see when I'm wrong.
People who think the world owes them a living piss me off and will hear something like this if they come to me for help: "If your life sucks, quit whining and do something about it. You deserve to be miserable if you choose to wallow in it. So what if bad things happen to you? They happen to everyone. It's called living. Deal with it."
Even if I could, I wouldn't go back and undo a single adversity I've lived through. These are the things that have given me strength and helped make me who I am today. And I'm a hell of a woman!
It's a fact of our society that any woman who's competent and assertive gets classified as a bitch. I've taken that term for my own and wear it as a badge of honor. It means I think for myself and don't care who knows it, or what they think of me.

Heartless bitches make the best friends, because we don't waste our time with posers and whiners. We go for and work to sustain true friendships based on equality and mutual respect. When our friends have problems, we don't coddle them and nurture their weakness. We give them sound practical advice that empowers them to deal with things.
Heartless bitches make the best business people because we don't bend over and let the male dominated corporate world give us a collective screw. We know how to get things done as equals without having to use our sexuality to manipulate men.
Heartless bitches make the best lovers because we know what we like in bed. We don't play games. We give and receive with equal gusto, but we know how to draw our lines and not let anyone cross them.
Heartless bitches make the best wives because we choose mates strong enough to handle us. We know how to express our wants and needs and how to meet the needs of our mate with compassion and understanding.
Heartless bitches make the best mothers because we know how to raise well-behaved, respectful, self-confident kids. We hate spoiled, bratty kids who get everything given to them on a silver platter and are never held accountable for their actions. We show our kids by example how to be powerful and effective. We show them how to weed out the bullshit from the true substance of life.
