Society says I am..........

When in fact, what I am is, strong by nature, aggressive, know what I want and how to get it, intelligent, brutally honest, upfront, unpretentious, do not play games but prefer to lay the cards on the table, sarcastic, cynical, arrogant, intolerant, impatient, and contemptuous, of the weak, because it is within their control to "change" things, and a failure to do so is the epitome of weakness.

Society fails to see these traits as positives (particularly men) and as a result, labels me a heartless bitch, which by the way, has been vocalized more times than I can remember.

Men - They find it difficult to deal with a personality stronger than their own, have great difficulty facing "truth", are uncomfortable by their inability to "handle me" or "control me", and are terrified by the idea that I might actually be more intelligent then they are.

Women - are threatened by me because I am everything they wish they could be. I am also bad for the "image", afraid that men will paint them all with "my" brush and ruin things for them.

I do not hate men or the women that love them. They can be useful at times but I refuse to be something I am not simply because it makes them more comfortable. I must be true to myself regardless of the repercussions, and if liking who I am and being comfortable in my skin, makes me a heartless bitch, then so be it. I will wear the title proudly.
